2.22.12 Happy Birthday Linc!!!

My first born is 4 years old today! I love that little man more then words can say. He really is the sweetest boy and I am so proud to be his momma. I've been thinking about the day I had him a lot today. I will never forget holding him in my arms for the first time. Such an immediate overwhelming feeling of love. Love for Linc. Love for Landon. So grateful that my Heavenly Father trusted me enough to send this special spirit to me. Lincoln makes me want to be a better person every day and I could not picture life with out him. I just love that boy.

For Linc's big day we started out with pancakes in different shapes. "L" for Luke and a "4" for Linc.

My attempt to be clever. The 4 was pretty easy. The "L" was a little more difficult. It kept wanting to look like certain body parts that were not kid friendly.

After Luke was done I drove his high chair into the kitchen to clean him off and the light from the window was hitting his eyes just perfect and they looked so neat! Neat seems like a weird word for it but that's all I can think of right now. His eyes are beautiful normally but the light was hitting them just right that you could see all of the strands and different colors. The pictures never really do it justice but I tried to get some anyway. The only photoshop I did to these was a little bit of sharpening to the whole picture. The last one you can really see the best.

After breakfast I had to work for a little bit so Linc and Luke played at the Welch's for a while, then Grandma Tom & Jerry came and got them. They went to McDonalds and played then went back to grandma's and played outside until I finished working and running to the store. We went back home and got things ready for his little party. We did pizza, presents, cake and ice cream with the family. Linc and Luke played with balloons most of the night. Linc got some cute Curious George stuff, 3 kites, two bowling ball sets and a few other things. Good stuff! Linc's really been loving Curious George lately so the song gets stuck in mine and Landon's head quite a bit. As we were cleaning up from the party Landon made up a new verse...You never know what he's gonna do, he might just fling his pooh at you, cause he's curious. I like Curious George! Fling! I like his version. I think I was really tired because I could not stop laughing. Anyways. I'll be sharing some pictures from the party on my next post, I'm too tired to do them tonight. I am ready for bed.

I took the boys out the other day to try and get some updated pictures of them. Well we lasted about 3 minutes before we were hightailing it back to the car to get out of the cold. I was going to try and take some today since the weather was good but that didn't work out with me working and trying to get the house ready for Linc's party. I'll have to plan another day. I did get a few from our three minute adventure.

02.19.12 Sunday best, shiner, walk to the wood shop

Linc looking handsome in his Sunday best.

Looking a little creepy while still pulling of handsome.

Poor Linc got a shiner tonight! He was playing on a chair and bumped his cheek on one of the legs.

Yesterday afternoon, after playing tornado comes and picks up our fort and drops it in Disneyland for about an hour, I decided it was time for a little fresh air. Landon was working on our desk at his grandpa's wood shop so we decided to take a walk and go visit him.

Gunner got out as we were trying to leave so we had to hang out for a bit while he peed in all of the yards in our neighborhood.

Ok away we go!

Luke I don't think you are considered "authorized personnel"

I had a "didn't think that one through" moment when I realized all of the dangerous things my very curious 18 month old could get into at the wood shop. I gave him a broom and that occupied him for a little bit. And the place needed some serious sweepage done. Win win!

Daddy made Linc a sword that he thought was the coolest thing in the world.
Announcing Sir Lincoln!

2.18.12 french toast, Xacian

I am tired today! I've done the head bob twice while trying to post this. The last couple of nights I have not been able to sleep well, which is super annoying. I love my sleep. My family loves my sleep. If I don't get it I am the zombie you see today. Oh well the show must go on! Maybe I'll run around my backyard without any clothes on...Landon tells me this wakes you up and he would know. Alright enough of that craziness. This morning, two of my favorite men and I, enjoyed some french toast for breakfast. Happy Saturday!

Linc's new way of addressing people. Dude, duuuuuuuuuude, dude.

Lukie's new words he picked up the last couple days: honey & hola

Want to see a train wreck? Yes, I did just resort back to my elementary days. Felt good.

French toast with a little graham cracker. Yum.

I finally finished up Xacian's newborn pics. Here are a few of my faves.
