5.31.12 summer

It's got to be summer...my kids come in the house every night looking homeless and covered in dirt with fun-ness from the day all over them. Just as it should be.

5.27.12 color, salsa, camp out, evenings

My little Luke is getting so big! He loves tractors and popsicles. His new favorite thing is to color.
Tracing his hand.
Home made salsa, YUM!
I love this picture of Linc. He looks so little and I can see his little baby/toddler face shining through. Sometimes when I look at him he looks like a mini man and I realize how big he is really getting and how fast it's going by. Pictures like these make me happy.
Our house has been INFESTED with these ugly creepy creatures. The black and white jumping spiders. The ones that have no fear and turn to attack when you try to kill them. I found them in the office, in the laundry, ON MY PILLOW (I still have the creeps from that one). I had killed about 10 before we had some one come and spray for them. Since then I haven't seen one.
HASTA LA VISTA BABY!! (yes I had to look up how to spell that on google...you should of seen how I tried to spell it. ha!)
The first DeHaas Family Backyard Campout! Only one surviver made it the entire night. Let's give it up for Dad!
Lukie didn't even attempt to sleep in the tent so he was out first, then mom went in after Linc fell asleep, (I was feeling a little weird about Lukie being inside all by himself even though the baby monitor was on...just in case anyone is sitting there calling me a pansy) then Linc came in around 3am. So congrats to dad!
Look at Landy's cute sleepy face.

Some evenings we like to lay in the backyard in our hammock and laugh at Luke do funny things. I would tell some of the things he does but it's kind of one of those have to be there slash have to be your kid in order for it to be funny kind of deal.

5.26.12 fire, friends, hot dogs, mallows, mountains

I'm slowly catching up one event at a time. Last weekend we headed up the canyon with the Welch's and the (soon to be) Garrett's and had ourselves some delicious hot dogs, chips and topped it off with some smores. Going up the canyon is a favorite summer activity of ours and I have missed it so. Coming home smelling of camp fire and the outdoors is the best.

I love these boots. These boots mean we can pay the bills (something I will never again take for granted). These boots mean I have a hard working husband that loves our little family. Yep I love these boots and the hottie-boomba-lottie that wears them.
P.S. Yes I realize I have been a lame face blogger. Lots to catch up on soon. Can I please just have a few more hours added to the day?

5.17.12 daddy's boy

No doubt about it. Lukie is a daddy's boy.

5.13.12 bubbles, chicken head, bike, hike

Today was so lovely. It is Mother's day. I love Mother's day. I got a nap...a NAP I tell you! and lunch in bed. A BLT made by my hubby. YUM. I will be sharing some Mother's day pictures tomorrow because I have made it a goal to be in bed before 11 and guess what? It's 10:59 so I better hurry it up. Here are a few fun things from this past week. P.S. Once again lame face blogger has muted the colors on a few of the pictures. Only a few though...I'm not sure what the crapola is going on. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, it would be much appreciated. Ok moving on. Linc and Lukie's new favorite thing in the tub. Bubbles. Lots of bubbles. Except for Luke wasn't too happy when dad put some on his face.
Linc's new act...chicken head!
Grandpa got Linc a cool new bike for his birthday and brought over some training wheels to put on it so Linc can bust out his biking skills.
Last Saturday we decided to hike up a trail in Pleasant Grove that led to a small water fall. It was so fun and it felt great to get out and do something active. We will definitely be doing things like this more. Grandpa tagged a long for the fun!

Linc DEMANDED insisted on bringing his (very large) back pack on the trip. He looks prepared to hike, no?
Cute picture of mom and Linc with the exception of mom's arm and pinky finger looking some what dislocated.
A few family pictures. Let's see who cooperated the most, shall we?

Linc: 0 Dad: 0 Luke: 0 Mom: 1
Linc: 0 Dad: 0.5 Luke: 0 Mom: 1

Well ta ta for now folks. I'll be back soon.
