9.23.12 a search for fall leaves.

This week has been a bit of a crazy one. Both the boys were sick at the same time. Throwing up and high fevers...you know, the worst. The first night they were sick there was no sleep for the entire family. Landon had one kid, I had another. It was sad. I felt so bad for my boys. We ended up taking them to the dr and turns out they had herpangina. (no, not an STD although it sounds like it) I had never heard of it before, but it's in the same family as hand, foot and mouth. Luke had white soars on the back of his throat which made him scream every time he tried to eat or drink anything. So that's what was going on at our house for most of the week. Thursday they were both feeling a lot better and by Friday you would never know it had been a rough week. Glad that is over! I must of been exhausted because I took a 3 hour nap today haha. Even though I could of slept all day it was just what I needed and I feel ready to start another week.
Anyhowser lets move onto happier things. Last Sunday we took a drive up the canyon in search for fall leaves. The mountains look so pretty so we figured there would be a lot, and there was...just not in reachable places. But that's ok, just another excuse to head up there again soon when the leaves are in their full glory.

One of the main reasons I wanted to go was to use this little baby. FILM. My uncle gave it to me and I couldn't wait to try it out. Thanks to my father in law, I now know how to some what use it. I'm going to develop it tomorrow so we'll see how they turn out. Fingers crossed they will some what turn out.
Self timer awesomeness.

9.18.12 Little

Some days (not all days) I wish my little ones would stay little forever.  Want to snuggle, want to play trucks, want to show me their "cool tricks".  My beautiful cuddlies.  These little men hold my heart and soul.

9.16.12 Lately

Here's what we've been up to lately....

Evening strolls around the pond.
Eating fall raspberries and practicing our writing.
water painting with squirt bottles. (best 99 cents I ever spent)
working together.
watching beautiful sunsets.
helping Grandma harvest tomatoes.
discovering our chickens were hiding their eggs from us. sneaky ladies.
Watching Linc play soccer.
picking dandelions and just hanging around.
more hanging around and enjoying the weather. I think it should be in the high 70's 9 months out of the year.
Happy Sunday.
