2.10.11 Smells like home, demon poop, horse riding

Well hello! Can you believe it's the 10th of February already? And it's been a while since I've written so I need to step up my game here. So I have a few things that I've been wanting to write about and hopefully I haven't forgotten any of them. We've got...smelling like home, a tornado pee, an emotional poop, Lukie's 6 month dr. appointment and just other randoms.
So the other night Landon and I were snuggling in bed and he gave me a big smell and said that I smell just like home. Um isn't that the cutest thing you've ever heard?? I thought it was so sweet. Then we laid there and told each other how much we loved each other. I'm so grateful to have such an adorable husband. Speaking of adorable husband lets move on to emotional poop since Landon was the hero. So this story is funny now but in the moment it was so sad. Well last Saturday Linc was going to the bathroom and Landon and I were in the other room flirting when all of the sudden Linc started screaming. So we ran into the bathroom and he kept saying "owie my bum hurts!". He was screaming and crying and kicking his legs. We didn't know what to do so we sat there with him for a few minutes. I rubbed his back as we tried to help him through this crazy poop he was trying to get out. Well after a while Landon asked Linc if he wanted to get up and he said yes so we stood him up and the poor little guy had the hugest rock hard poop stuck in his little bum! It was the weirdest looking thing. Poor Linc was still balling. We felt awful that he was hurting so bad. So I laid Linc's head on my lap as Landon prepares to extract the demon poo. So Landon gets the poo out but it wasn't an easy task. He has to push so hard and poor Linc just screamed out in pain and that's when Landon and I start crying. Landon successfully removes the poop from hell and flushes it to it's death down the toilet. Relieved the poop was gone we all sat back and cried. I'm sure it was a sight. I'm laughing now just thinking of it but oh. my. goodness. It is so terrible when your child is hurting so bad and you don't feel like you can do anything. Well it took Linc like 2 seconds to recover which was good. I'm glad it didn't traumatize him. I think it traumatized Landon more then anything. He was sweating and breathing all hard and I thought it was so sweet he started crying. He said I usually don't cry but when someone in my family is hurting and there isn't anything I can do about it gets to me. That's why I pull poops out of their bums. hahaha. So Linc when you get older you can know that your Daddy loves you because he pulled a rock hard poop out of your bum! Linc is going to love me with all of these bathroom stories but I have just one more that happened last week. So Linc sleeps in our bed. I know, huge no no. Anyway so we woke up and Linc had peed out of his diaper. He looked down at the huge pee stain and was like "Look mommy a tornado! It goes around and around and around." Apparently his pee stain looked like a tornado to him. Which I'm not surprised because he's really into watching tornado and water vortex videos on youtube. That's right....water vortex's. But it's so cute when he asks to watch them. "I watch wader bortex mommy." He is the cutest thing. I love it when he give me hugs and says "I lub you mommy" and then gives me like a million kisses. He's also in the stage where he repeats everything he says 52 million times, kiiiiiiiind of annoying. And he yells super loud. I especially love this when Luke is taking a nap. He is such a sweet boy.

Luke is sitting on my lap right now and would like to say hello. Here you go Lukie. mnyb r6 e yuu m9,y gffqazjn bkmk. That was very nice. I love you too. So Luke's 6 month dr. appointment was yesterday. He is in the 25% for his weight and 75% for his height. So he's tall and skinny for his age. Skinny with rolls on his thighs. They are super cute. I wish my rolls were super cute dang it all. Well since they are not they are on their way out. I've lost 7 lbs in the past two weeks! Yay for me! Only like 20 more pounds to go. My plan is to lose about 25 before we go on our cruise in April. I am so excited to go! We're going for our 5 year anniversary. We're going to the Bahama's and spending a day in Miami so Landon can see parts of his mission. Landon hasn't been back to his mission yet and we've never been on a cruise before so it will be fun fun fun!

A few weeks ago my wonderful friends Ty and Meagan let Linc and I tag along when they took their horses to an arena in Lehi. Linc loved it! They tried to teach me how to ride a horse...lets just say I was not graceful. at all. You could hear me coming a mile away cause my butt and the saddle were hitting together with great intensity. By the end I was doing better. It was so much fun though! I think I want some horses now for sure.

Linc and Lukie in the bath. Luke is making the funniest facial expression lately. His whole body tenses up and his arms and feet move in tiny circles and then he makes this face. It's so funny!

Meagan and I have decided to do one craft a month so this month we are doing Valentine's day wreaths. They turned out so cute! Meagan's sister Tessie did one also. They are the cutest girls! We had so much fun.

Well that's it for now. This post took me all day pretty much. I started at 7:30 this morning and now it's 8:45 at night. I didn't work on it constantly...anyway I'm sure you all wanted to know that. Ok goodnight.
