12.27.11 Linc's prayer, Grandpa's visit, froot loops, Christmas Eve

Hey there, ho there. I'd like to share with you Linc's prayer from the other night.

Heanly Father, We thank thee for this day, all our blessings. (pauses and opens one eye indicating he'd like some help)
Dad whispers, We thank thee for our mommy and da...Linc interrupts, We thank thee for pop sickles and ice cream and chocolate milk and treats. (pauses opens one eye.) Dad, OK we thank thee for our mommy and da..Linc interrupts, We thank for Izzy and Sawyer and Lukie and Polly and Hill-ree and Grandma Tom and Jerry and Grandma Tui and Nikki and Michele and Xiomi...and Gunner, in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!
Apparently Landon and I do not make the list. Let's see how he feels after a week of bread and water. heh heh heh (totally joking of course, in case some of you were thinking of contacting CPS)

12.23.11 My dad came over for a visit. It was so nice to catch up and hang out for a bit. We had dinner and opened some gifts Grandpa brought. Then boys and Grandpa played a good game of rollie pollie.

12.24.11 Christmas Eve is usually a busy day for us and this year was no exception. We start the day off with Luke wanting to sit at the table like a big boy to eat his breakfast...

which was working out great till this happened. Keep tryin Lukie.

After that we headed over to my Uncle Brian's for a pool pizza party.

Then we went over to Mom and Russ's to do gifts and have dinner.

Check out that big mess of mickey mouse jammies.

Meesh accidentally forgot her jammies.

Cambie the Elf has gone back to the North Pole for the year. He was kind enough to leave this parting letter. Poor Linc misses trying to find him every morning and keeps asking about him.

After the boys went to bed, us parents got a little crazy and busted out the sparkling juice and cookies while we watched A Christmas Story. Nothing like a bottle of carbonated juice to help calm the nerves.
